Poem — A love poem for you!
A poem of love for a man and his woman not together but one altogether!
I wanna write a poem for you, not to make you weak but strong
As you walk away into the sunset knowing I’m your shadow all along
We found each other
So much in common but our worlds were another
We pushed each other away
But life made our love sway
Binding our bodies, souls, hearts and minds
Where do I start and where does she end none could find
It wasn’t fair to her this new us, I know
She knew she wouldn’t feel us whole and that seed of hurt would grow
And so she knew she had to break apart
Such was the force, neither she nor me was left with a heart
There is something missing in both of us now
What’s mine is with her and her’s is with me though we may not allow
One thing is sure though
I am now her shadow
Death, distance or even time won’t keep me at bay
For in the night and dark there’s no shadow they say
Oh! but when that happens i will cover her all around
She knows this, as originally it was my dark love that she found
