A poem that dwells into the conflicted mind of an environmentalist

I don’t wanna buy expensive 10 bucks Snickers
And violate those stupid environmental laws that talk about litters
Also I hate those yucky soggy paper straws
That make it difficult to suck up my thick chocolate milkshake, blocking it like gauze

I don’t know why we came from monkeys to man
We don’t even have the sense to trash a beer can
So we started with plastic and used it all around
We churned it, we burned it but it just laughed and frowned

A whole lot of talk and a more lot of money
Researches and formulas leaving us still a dud bunny
Oh I know what all is wrong and what precisely is bad
Alas when I clear up one end and it shifts and grows to the other end, it drives me mad
