Poem — So THAT is love?
A poem about love and what it means in today’s world
I stepped out looking for love
Searching for something special from the heavens above
A bond that binds two souls into one being
A love that lasts beyond just seeing
Just as I dipped my toes into reality I found
Love has turned to some infatuation sound
They call it true love these days a lesson I learned
A new definition of love is not what I wanted but earned
For love itself is true or it ain’t love at all
I argued and debated but only received appal
A new definition of love is good times and wine
Just some happy times be it sex, movies or dine
So now I seek not for love first
Search for someone who knows the real thirst
A soul like mine who bonds beyond good times
Not just happy happy moments but an altogether chime
