Poem — The warrior mindset!
What is the warrior mentality in today’s world? Is it a chosen few? Or is it even you?
Hmmm. The warrior mindset
Is his mind set?
Is it someone who never backs down?
Or someone who wears the bravado crown?
Who fights all the fights?
Coz that’s what’s right?
One who wins all battles?
Never really rattled?
Does such a man exist?
Who also isn’t a sexist?
BUT
I beg to differ
The truth may be much stiffer
It is not he who always wins
It is also not she who never sins
For no one is always right
No one is without a fright
There’s a warrior inside you and me
With the soul it has signed a decree
To stand up and fight
Or just sit tight
So shake him, wake him and if needed rake him
Coz he will rise to your broken whim
Victory or defeat, he shall not retreat
For the warrior in you and me has arrived to greet
